Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1904, is a private, non-profit business assistance and economic development organization. With 2,600 members, representing over 1.3 million individual employees in the six-county Northeastern Illinois region (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry & Will), we are the largest Chamber of Commerce in Illinois and one of the largest in the nation.

Small Business Development Center

The SBDC at the Chicagoland Chamber will focus on assisting start-ups and maturing firms to build confidence in their product or service. Services will include start-up business planning assistance, guidance on accessing business financing, help with market research and marketing plan development, assistance with developing new markets, and linkages to additional resources.

Jeff Molitor

Director of Promotions, Clique Studios

Jeff leads the Promotion Division of Clique Studios, focusing primarily on the development and execution of Digital Interaction campaigns, including Sweepstakes, User Generated Contests, Instant-Win Games, Social Media Integration and Loyalty Platforms. Born in Illinois and a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University (BA in Art, i.e. “pre-bartending” to his parents at the time), Jeff has been in the promotion agency world for over 11 years and has served such wonderful clients as Butterball, Sears, Office Depot, RadioShack, Disney and Coinstar.  

 

Jeff has a beagle named Cooper, ten nephews and nieces, loves photography, and finished his one (and only) Chicago Marathon (2009). His personal dream is to travel Russia for six months with his camera. Check him out at www.JeffMolitor.com.

 
Ben Wollitz

Vice President of Member Development and Retention, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce

As Vice President of Member Development and Retention of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Ben Wollitz has been creating programs and implementing initiatives for the regional chamber’s 2,000 corporate members for 5 years.

 

After receiving a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Ben originally from Minneapolis MN, moved to Chicago to run the marketing department of one of the Midwest’s largest property management and real estate development firms before joining the Chamber. With the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s responsibilities of driving the region’s economic development efforts, Ben leads the division in charge of creating jobs, and economic activity, through attracting business to the region, and helping the new and existing businesses connect with one another to grow the regional economy.

 
Damian Silver

Director of Small Business Development , Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce

Damian Silver is the Director of Small Business Development of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a SBA program designed to create job growth through small business counseling housed at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. Prior to transitioning to the SBDC role, Damian was Director of Sales at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization that serves as the greater voice of the business community in the six-county Northeastern Illinois region.  With the role of building a small business program through the Chicagoland Chamber and the SBDC guidelines, Silver has accepted the challenge to drive support for small businesses in the Chicagoland area and deliver results that will have a positive effect on the Region’s economy.

Before joining the Chamber in 2007 in sales, Silver worked for one of the Midwest’s largest property management firms.  While at the property management firm, he led a team that would eventually surpass a 100+ year old record for pre-leasing a new property.
